Software/Hardware to use with Probe

• ScannerBase
  
  Scannerbase is a frequency CD-ROM with a very nice front end that will export frequencies you select to your harddrive in UFDBF format. Probe will then import these freqeuncies for you to scan.
  
  
• Percon
  
  Percon also offers frequency database CD-ROMs that will export freqeuncies to your hardrive in UFDBF format. Percon offers the CD-ROMs in Regional and national verisons.
  
  
• Programit
  
  Programit is a interface that will program your scanner. It will allow you to directly import a Probe's freq.dbf file and look at Probe's bank field and program those frequencies into the same bank on your scanner. I have my programit interface in the same scanner as my Optoboard. I create a special group in Probe of 400 or 100 frequencies with 10 banks to match my scanner to use with the Programit combo.
  
  
• RecAll
  
  Recall is Windows 95 program that records scanner audio to your harddrive with voice-activated software and your soundcard. Using Probe and the Optoboard recorder relay you can complete the circuit and only send audio on frequencies you specfic in Probe. Another method is assign those frequencies/banks you want recorded to a Hyperbank which will turn on the recorder on for all freqeuncies and hit that hyberbank when you want the audio to be recorded to your harddrive.
